30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. The nursery received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted at its latest inspection on 15/07/2022.
Children are noted to thoroughly enjoy their time at nursery and feel safe and secure. Leaders are passionate about supporting emotional development, and staff in the baby room nurture and support babies as they investigate their surroundings, promoting independence.
The nursery employs a creative approach to outdoor learning due to a lack of outside space, with staff organising daily trips to local parks and areas to connect children with the natural world, often linking these excursions to current learning, such as buying ingredients for baking activities. The curriculum is ambitious and thoughtfully planned, with exceptional teaching helping children to increase their learning across all areas.
The setting places a strong emphasis on a language-rich environment, where staff narrate children's play and use thought-provoking questions to encourage communication. For children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), the nursery quickly identifies needs and implements appropriate interventions, including one-to-one support when necessary, to ensure all children can access the full curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are identified quickly and appropriate interventions are put in place to help them to achieve. Staff offer high levels of support for these children, including one-to-one care when needed to help children access activities and achieve as well as others. Management acts with integrity to ensure all children access the full curriculum.
Due to a lack of outside space, staff are creative when planning how children will access fresh air. They place a strong focus on helping children to feel awe and see the wonder in the outside world, with daily trips to parks and the local area. Staff link this to current interests and learning, such as taking young children to buy ingredients for their baking activity.
The nursery is clean, safe, and filled with engaging activities that help the kids learn and grow. Highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing environment for their little one!
Read on GoogleCan't recommend highly enough! Staff and manager are lovely, helpful and amazing with the kids. Great communication with parents and are always flexible and accommodating where possible. The lack of outdoor space i know puts some people off but as they get taken out when it's nice weather and they have the outdoor room with slides etc available all year I have never found this an issue. Also think the handling of the Covid situation by nursery has been brilliant and I would like to say thank you for providing great care for my son for the last 2.5 years as hes off to big school x
Read on GoogleThis is the best nursery, amazing staff, everyone is so friendly and they are amazing with the kids. They put on some amazing events for the little ones and the kids are very clearly doing some learning as our daughter often comes home telling us new things she's learned
Read on GoogleSTOP THE PARENTS PARKING ON THE CORNER OF VICTORIA STREET WEST - can’t fit down in a van, the day someone needs a fire engine it’s not going to end well.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely 100% the right choice made from the start sending my daughter to kids planet Brampton. The staff are all REALLY nice and helpful and genuinely care about your children. 100% satisfied with the care she receives whilst there. I previously looked at kids planets in chesterfield town centre and Newbold also, but kids planet Brampton just ticked all the boxes for me. It wasn’t just about location for me and in all honesty it was the staff that sold it. Very professional and couldn’t ask for better. My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She has been here since September 2024 🥰
