Inclusion & environment
Overall, staff support children's language development effectively, including for children who speak English as an additional language and for those with speech delay. However, on occasion, staff working with younger children do not consistently build on children's attempts to speak.
Pre-school children confidently move their bodies around and thoroughly enjoy an outdoor 'animal yoga' activity. They show determination and resilience as they try hard to capture the selected pose of a dog, frog and butterfly. Tightened outdoor risk assessments are in place due to nearby building contractors.
Horrible nursery, My child attended and she came home with bruises every session. She was never clean, and always cried when dropped off. I also had a friend that worked there and she said it was awful! The staff always spoke negatively about the children and parents, and staff often left others out of ratio (illegal, and against ofsted requirements) to go and sit in the office to chat. We always had issues with lack of communication from staff as to how our child had settled during the day which left me and my husband feeling very upset and no longer trusting in the staff! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to take their child to this setting as it has led to my childs first impression of a child care setting to be not very nice at all.
