Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make secure progress from their starting points. Children who receive external support are progressing extremely well. The special educational needs coordinator meets with parents to discuss the needs of their children and liaises with outside agencies, including the local authority, for advice. Children with SEND are progressing well.

Outdoor space

Children are happy to take part in a range of interesting activities indoors and relish opportunities to learn outside. Children show delight when searching for aeroplanes as they fly over the nursery.

EAL / language support

There are fewer opportunities for children who speak English as an additional language to hear or explore their home language through play consistently across the nursery. Although managers and leaders recognise this is an area they would like to strengthen, it is yet to be embedded in practice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Kindred Nursery Teddington As a mum who recently moved her daughter (Cali) to Kindred Nursery Teddington, I couldn’t be happier with the decision. From day one, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, caring, and genuinely invested in her wellbeing. My daughter settled in so quickly, and I can already see how much she’s learning and growing. One of the things I really appreciate is the communication. The staff are brilliant at keeping me updated, and the app they use is amazing — I love receiving photos, daily notes, and little updates throughout the day. It gives me such peace of mind. Overall, it’s a wonderful nursery with a warm atmosphere and a really supportive team. I would absolutely recommend Kindred Nursery Teddington to any parent looking for a caring and reliable place for their child.
