About this day nursery

Kingfisher Day Nursery Didsbury provides a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop their full potential. The nursery prides itself on offering a safe and secure setting, as evidenced by positive Ofsted reports and a Gold Award from the Manchester Quality Assurance Framework.

The dedicated team focuses on fostering children's interests and enthusiasm through a variety of engaging activities. Beyond the standard curriculum, children participate in extracurricular activities like Spanish lessons, Rhyme Time, singing, and sports coaching, and also enjoy community outings to local parks, libraries, shops, and even the fire station.

The nursery operates on a 51-week year, with fees covering meals, nappies, wipes, cream, and formula for infants up to 12 months. Both a Managing Director and a Nursery Manager lead the team, emphasising a parent-centric approach to childcare, having children themselves.

They also encourage parents to visit the nursery to experience its environment firsthand.
