Ladybird Nursery in Anerley, established in 1995, is located in a modernized Victorian house, less than a five-minute walk from Anerley and Penge West train stations. The nursery operates across two floors, dedicating the first floor to preschoolers aged 3-5, while babies aged 3 months to 2 years and toddlers aged 2-3 years are cared for in separate rooms on the ground floor.

Fees are structured monthly based on attendance of two to five days per week, with differing rates for standard, 15-hour, and 30-hour funded places. Extra charges apply for ad hoc sessions, early starts, late finishes, and consumables on fully funded hours.

Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress. Staff work well with outside agencies. Additional funding is used effectively to provide the targeted resources and experiences some children require to thrive and develop.
Older children work together developing ball skills in the garden. Staff do not extend learning to include quantity and weight as children are filling different sized pots in the garden. Staff complete daily checks to ensure the premises and outdoor area are safe and secure.
Very good nursery, the teachers are very polite and helpful, the nursery is very clean, my son enjoyed the activities, trips to the farm, pet shop, Crystal Palace park. I will recommend Ladybird Nursery to anyone.
