About this day nursery

Ladybirds Nursery, situated in Chichester, has been a cornerstone of childcare in the Witterings area for nearly three decades. The nursery prides itself on a philosophy that acknowledges the unique qualities of each child, fostering an environment where children can develop into caring, confident, and inquisitive learners through comprehensive family support.

Established in 2004 by Sue Blunden, who previously managed the 4+ Nursery at East Wittering School since 1996, Ladybirds Nursery has consistently achieved Ofsted's highest rating for the past ten years. The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning exemplified by its Beach School programme, which allows children to learn by the seaside.

The curriculum is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring children are well-prepared for their transition to school.
