Landulph Under Fives aims to provide all children with a secure and motivating environment where they can develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually through play. Children eagerly enter this welcoming pre-school, where staff greet them warmly and choose how to say goodbye to their parents at the 'waving window' before settling into play. Staff plan their curriculum well, introducing new words and mathematical concepts, such as 3D shapes and counting, to ensure children make progress. Children play cooperatively, share well, and understand the need to wait their turn, developing patience and respect for others.

The nursery offers session-based care with different rates for two-year-olds and three-to-four-year-olds. Families can book breakfast, morning, lunchtime, afternoon, all-day, or wraparound sessions. Government funding is accepted for eligible children in both age groups.
