The Cabin at Barn Park Nursery in Plymouth is a purpose-built childcare facility that opened in 2014, catering to children aged 2-4 years. Recognising the critical importance of early childhood development, the nursery is dedicated to providing a stimulating, enjoyable, and safe environment for children to learn and grow.
The setting features a spacious playroom for various activities and exploration, alongside a smaller "quiet room" for group sessions. Outdoors, children can explore a diverse garden area equipped with a wooden train, a mud kitchen, a climbing frame bridge, and a sandpit.
Vicki manages the Barne Barton setting and is available to answer questions and provide tours. The nursery prides itself on its graduate-led team, with a high proportion of qualified staff, and collaborates with specialists like speech and language therapists and play therapists to support individual needs.
The Cabin operates 50 weeks a year, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is conveniently situated next to The Barn Site of Tamar Folk Children's Centre. The Cabin Childcare Centre is guided by its core aims: caring for individual needs, fostering achievement in children, promoting individuality, providing inclusive childcare, and creating a nurturing environment.

My daughter absolutely loves it at this nursery. She looks forward to going every morning and always comes home with a smile on her face. The staff do so much with the children. Different themes every week to keep the kids engaged and multiple trips out to near by places of interests. They always go above and beyond for all the children in their care. Would highly recommend them to anyone 👍🤩

Excellent Nursery would highly recommend, my boy was here for 2 years & they helped so much with his confidence, when he first started he was so upset but they comforted him very well it wasn't long he was nice and settled. They have helped him so much I'll be forever grateful for there help and teaching ❤️
