Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported to make the progress they are capable of, because staff have a detailed knowledge of the specific needs of each child. The special educational needs and/or disabilities coordinator (SENDCo) has developed excellent partnerships with staff, parents and outside agencies to help to ensure that these children receive the support they need.
Babies concentrate as they pick and investigate flowers in the garden. Older children select their sun hats as they prepare to go outdoors. Outdoors children run, climb and balance on logs. Children enjoy long periods of time outdoors where they benefit from fresh air and exercise.
We are so happy with the care Lilliput has given our son and feel he has thrived. The nursery is a lovely environment, the staff have built strong bonds with him and give thorough hangovers; we feel we work together to help our son reach his goals. He looks forward to going and is happy when we collect him. Highly recommend.
