Staff demonstrate dynamic teaching practice to use what is happening around children to help them learn about the natural world. Staff provide a range of intriguing activities, experiences and discussions with children, including on site, in the garden and during local trips outdoors. I really cannot speak highly enough of all the staff and the work they do at little acorns, it is a wonderful vibrant setting which my daughter loves to attend. The mixed age setting is managed really well and my daughter has thrived in being able to play with and learn from the older children, as well as developing her ability to show nurture and care to the smaller children. I believe this is a big contributor to her confidence. All the staff are very knowledgeable, compassionate, nurturing and caring. They are clearly dedicated to early years education and ensuring the well-being of the children in their care. I also love the focus on nature and getting outdoors. I'm so glad we found little acorns!

Just wanted to say a couple of words to express my appreciation to all the staff at little acorns and the overall ethos of this nursery. My 4 year old son really enjoys his time here, especially all the outdoor activities and is always excited in the morning to go!

This nursery is everything I could ever have hoped for. What I love most about it is the culture, it is a proper community where the children are all loved and cared for and everyone wants to get to know each other. The staff are all brilliant and take time to get to properly know and understand every child individually and they go above and beyond to make the children feel happy, safe and listened to. They always plan such creative and thoughtful activities which are tailored to meet all of their different developmental needs. The mixed age setting means that children get to interact with all ages (rather than being limited in a particular room like in most nurseries) and this has such fantastic benefits to their social development. My daughter loves going to nursery everyday and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The manager is unprofessional at best, and have had a number of inappropriate remarks from him during conversations. Some of the practitioners are absolutely lovely, but we've unfortunately had more than one incident where inappropriate restraining was performed on our child during disregulation. When we approached the nursery with our issues, they disregarded our concerns, did not tell the truth during the investigation, that very quickly got dismissed, and nothing was done in the matter. We are very disappointed and would not recommend sending your child there.
