Little Avanti Nursery in Stanmore offers an immersive and holistic outdoor education programme for children aged two to five. Situated within Stanmore Recreation Ground, the nursery leverages its natural surroundings for daily activities like forest games, treasure hunts, and tree climbing, fostering physical growth, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the environment.

The nursery operates 51 weeks a year, from 8 am to 6 pm, providing a nurturing space where children can explore and develop at their own pace. Little Avanti follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework but maintains a flexible, child-led approach to learning, ensuring an unconstrained educational experience.

Beyond outdoor exploration, the curriculum incorporates weekly yoga, mindfulness, and Spanish lessons. Little Avanti Nursery is a wonderful place. The staff are caring, friendly, and very supportive, and the environment feels safe and welcoming. My child is happy and well looked after, and I’ve seen great progress since attending. Highly recommend!!!
