Pricing & funding

Fees are structured across three age bands: under 2 years, 2 years old, and 3 to 4 years old. Both full-time weekly rates and daily rates are available, with all sessions running from 8am to 6pm and including meals.

What it's like to attend

Inspector highlights

  • The dedicated and passionate manager has a clear vision for improvement. She leads a highly qualified and enthusiastic staff team who together identify the setting's strengths and areas for development.
  • Children have wonderful opportunities to learn about the natural world around them. For example, children grow produce in the garden to enable them to understand where food comes from.
  • Children of all ages demonstrate a love of literacy. Staff read to children with enthusiasm and ask questions about what might happen next.
  • Children enjoy spending time outdoors. Their physical development is particularly well supported.
  • Overall, staff actively promote children's communication and language skills. They provide a running commentary as children play, which helps to give meaning to what children are doing.

Areas to develop

  • 1continue to sharply focus supervision arrangements to help less-experienced staff to grow in confidence and develop their knowledge and skills even further
  • 2assist staff to understand the importance of pronouncing words correctly in order to support children's emerging communication and language skills.

Absolutely amazing nursery. Would recommend to everyone. The staff are brilliant and always available if you need them. It's a snug and cozy atmosphere so the children become a real close knit group. It's almost like a little family and the Little Cedars team can't be faulted

Amazing nursery. Staff are always on hand to chat about the child’s needs. Very supportive with learning and always encouraging outdoor play which i love. This is a very small nursery it almost feels like a family setting which I love and so do my children. Would 100% recommend to anybody. Thank you to all at little cedars for everything you do.
