Inclusion & environment
The manager and staff aim to support all children's readiness for their next stages of learning, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The setting uses assessments and observations to identify areas where children need further support, offering referrals to services like speech and language. Where necessary, the setting puts targets in place to focus on specific areas of learning to help children with SEND make progress, using additional funding effectively for one-to-one staff support.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors. Older children stop running to move toys out of the way when they chase their friends around the garden, showing they learn how to keep themselves safe.
