The playgroup is governed by Trustees and an elected management committee, ensuring its adherence to charitable objectives, specifically providing high-quality, affordable education. The playgroup admits children from the age of two, in line with its Ofsted registration, and prioritises flexibility in attendance to meet diverse family needs.

It also collaborates with Lincolnshire County Council to provide information on services for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities through the Local Offer programme.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to be prepared for changes in routine. For instance, staff talk to them about what will happen next alongside using visual prompts to support their understanding. Staff also use sign language to help children with SEND understand words and communicate their needs, and praise children with SEND for achievements like climbing apparatus.

Outdoor space

When children take and manage calculated risks, staff encourage them but monitor the risks to avoid harm. For example, staff place soft matting around larger apparatus when children climb and balance, and hold younger children's hands to promote their safety when jumping off equipment.
