Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs and/or disabilities coordinator (SENDCo) has a good understanding of each child's individual needs and has plans in place to support children to make progress. Staff identify when children require additional support and refer them to external agencies if needed. The SENDCo understands the importance of working closely with these agencies to support all children to develop to their full potential. Staff use additional funding to provide opportunities to support children in the environment.
Children show enjoyment while exploring the wide range of stimulating opportunities that staff provide in this forest setting. They move logs independently to look for different insects. Staff support children's learning by joining in with their play, encouraging them to spend time looking for insects underneath the logs. Children use magnifying pots to explore the insects that they find.
I have been so impressed with Little Forest Folk Chiswick, our son started when he was 2.5 years old as we felt he would benefit from more outside space and it is amazing how much his confidence has grown since he started. The team are so caring and nurturing and create a really fun environment for the children in the forest, I always love reading the daily updates and hearing what fun things they have been doing, often including adventure walks, arts and crafts and lots of imaginative play. The communication with parents is superb and the staff are all extremely caring and have been so helpful with advice for us as we navigate through these toddler years. Thank you so much to the LFF Team.

Read on GoogleIncredible staff, amazing environment and our son has loved every second. We are so happy with everything about it and would HIGHLY recommend Chiswick Little Forest Folk, thank you!
Read on GoogleMy son is now in his 2nd year at Little Forest Folk Chiswick and absolutely loves it. The teachers are all amazing - kind, fun and imaginative with the activities they do each day. They have helped him through picky eating, toilet training and reluctance to leave me in the morning - always with compassion and endless patience! Despite my worries when he first started, right from the start he napped really well every day in their cosy sleeping tent and still does at 3.5 yrs old. I recommend Little Forest Folk to everyone we talk to and it was the best decision we have made.
