Little Gems Nurseries is a family-operated childcare provider with three locations in Aldershot, Lindford, and Fleet. The director, Magda, established the first nursery in Aldershot in 2019, driven by her desire to provide high-quality education that aligns with her family's values after struggling to find a suitable setting for her own daughter.
The day nursery believes each child is a "precious gem" with unique qualities and a great purpose, and aims to nurture their development during these formative years. They pride themselves on having dedicated, caring, and passionate teachers who are committed to each child's journey and their family, recognising the significant responsibility they hold in raising future generations.
Little Gems Nurseries focuses on fostering communication, a sense of belonging, exploration, and overall well-being, guided by their mission to treasure, stimulate, and encourage each child's individual character and talents. They employ the Curiosity Approach to ignite a natural desire for exploration and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, allowing children to be active contributors to their learning through their interests and curiosities, supported by teachers who observe, mentor, and guide their discoveries.
Our ethos

The nursery charges non-funded hourly rates based on the child's age, with identical rates across both the Lindford and Fleet settings. Funding is accepted, but consumables charges apply per funded hour, varying by setting and age. Lindford charges cover meals, snacks, nappies, and extra-curricular activities.

When I met Magda the Head Teacher for the very first time, I knew this was the school for my daughter and I couldn’t have been more right. The school really follows through with their ethos and values and treat every child as an individual and caters to their individual needs and development. They constantly keep parents in the loop through their app where we can see what our children get up to through cute pictures and notes. My daughter really enjoys it and has developed a bond with her Key Person Miss Janine.

Little Gems is such a lovely school where everyone is like family. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic about learning and puts in so much effort and love to give the children the best care and supports each childs individual developmental needs. Highly recommend!

From day 1 with my first little one, I never worried leaving my children at preschool here. I knew the moment I met Magda and the team that they were in safe and caring hands. My little ones both absolutely loved their time there. Little Gems ethos is true to its word. Each child is precious and unique and the staff take the time to get to know each child, and family and their individual needs. As time has gone on with my second child now leaving to start her next chapter at infant school, I’ve seen so many examples of how passionate they are about what they do, they go above and beyond and are always looking to further improve by providing new and imaginative ways to learn through play and exploring the world around them all within a safe, spacious open setting. I honestly can not recommend them enough. I looked at several places before I was blessed enough to find them and I really feel I picked a winner and gave my girls the best start in their early learning journey.

From our initial enquiry to visiting the nursery, Magda was very professional, approachable & friendly. We undoubtably chose Little Gems for our son. With growing concerns of his development, Magda and her team were great and taking the extra time our son needed. Soon after our son being with Little Gems, It was evident that he would need extra help moving forward and therefore an EHCP was applied for. Magda worked tiredless with us to get this for him and despite it coming through once he left to go to infant school, She was only too happy to help to ensure he got what was best. Rachel his key worker was effectionate, patient and very understanding to his specific needs. Without Magda & Rachels first class service & care as well as the rest of the team. Our son would have not had the leg up to the beginning of his educational journey that he and we received from Little Gems. Thank you!

Professional, Friendly and Caring team. My SEND child had great time with the them even though it’s a mainstream nursery and my LO is currently there enjoying his time with other kids. I would highly recommend it to anyone with young kids.
