Parents are extremely complimentary about the care and support their children receive and how the staff go above and beyond for them.
They greatly appreciate the support children receive in preparation for transitioning to school. In particular, supporting their children's independence, confidence, social skills, and speech.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive the care and support they need to reach their full potential. Staff work closely with leaders and other professionals to understand each child's needs and target support. Additional funding is used effectively to help children make the best possible progress.
Children take part in activities that develop their understanding of the world, such as gardening where they plant seeds and care for plants. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
My youngest has had his graduation today and its been an emotional day for all. He's been to a few nurseries over his early years but he has never been to one quite like little gems. He was welcomed from the get go. The ladies that work with him accepted him for who he is and didn't try and stereotype or mold him in anyway shape or form just literally help him develop into who he is today. Everyday I dropped and picked up my boy I was always greeted by smiles and professionalism. When it was a bad day for him some how the ladies found a way of putting a positive on a negative situation. He will truly miss little gems nursery and the lovely ladies that work there. From the bottom of my heart I Thank-you for everything you have done for my son. Mr Gauntlett. X
