About this day nursery

Little George's is a private day nursery located in Feltham, accommodating up to 38 children between the ages of 0 and 5 years old. The nursery aims to provide a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where children can engage in various learning and play experiences.

It operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closing only for bank holidays and a five-day period between Christmas and New Year. The nursery is committed to creating an inclusive setting, respecting each child's individuality, and fostering their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development through a flexible routine and an early years curriculum.

Little George's places a strong emphasis on healthy eating and nutrition, with meals designed to be both enjoyable and healthy. The dedicated staff team, predominantly qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, regularly undergoes further training, including first aid and food hygiene certifications.

The setting also supports children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and works in partnership with parents to ensure effective communication and shared progress.

What it's like

Staff settle children quickly into the safe and stimulating environment. Children develop strong relationships with the staff, especially their key person, which helps them to feel secure and confident to ask for help. Children make good progress due to a well-balanced curriculum and staff who use children's interests to provide activities that aid development.

Pricing & funding

The nursery only charges for the meals it provides, with separate fees for lunches and snacks or tea. For children using funding, the meal service is optional and parents can choose to bring a packed lunch instead of purchasing a nursery lunch.
