How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those who are disadvantaged or with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress from their starting points. Leaders identify children who may need extra support. The staff team works well with parents and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all children.

Outdoor space

The teaching outside does not closely match the learning needs of the children taking part. This is because staff do not focus on what they want children to learn next. This means older children are not consistently challenged in their learning and younger children move between activities quickly.

I moved my daughter from Kateys to little heroes after a couple of bad experiences. The difference I have seen in my daughter is unbelievable. She went from being a shy, quiet little girl to being the vivacious happy child we knew she always was. The support from the staff (Anne and Maria, and all the other staff that work with her) has enabled my daughter to thrive in ways I’d not seen before. The school ready program they run is incredible, the facilities are fantastic, and best of all the staff are the most beautiful bunch of people you could wish to meet. They are patient, kind and understanding and have guided and supported my daughter through some important developmental years. She will be going to school in September but I’m delighted to see my little boy follow his big sisters footsteps through this delightful nursery. I would encourage anyone to look here before considering other nurseries.

Brilliant nursery and our toddler has the best time there! Great staff, brill management. Also, something I think is wonderful about Little Heros is the planning of extra events for the parents - for example speech & language, parents nights out, and first aid! Its been lovely to be part of a growing community. :)

Little Heroes is the most wonderful nursery. When you leave your little one in someone else's care you want to know they are going to do the very best for your child. Little Heroes does just that. All the staff care as if the children are their own. The list of activities is amazing, there's a homely atmosphere, buckets of fun and beautiful toys. They also run classes for the parents - recently we've had first aid and speech and language training. They say you need a village to raise a child and Little Heroes is part of ours.

Can’t recommend this nursery enough! The staff are wonderful and always fun and smiling as well as caring of the children. The management are great and always responsive and helpful. My son started just after turning 1 and they were great at supporting him to settle in. Strong community spirit and lots of activities for parents too!
