How they support every child

Outdoor space

Children delight in daily walks in the local community, for example to the greengrocers and recreational areas. However, staff do not plan as well as they could when taking children on outings. This slightly inhibits staff's knowledge and understanding of the individual needs of each child and how to build on their existing skills when playing outside.

The nursery has gone from strength to strength over the two years my daughter has attended. The staff are caring and are always coming up with new activities for the kids to do. Although there is no outside area the children are taken out daily for walks allowing them to explore parks and the areas around them, rather than being restricted to the same space every day. My son is starting at the nursery shortly and I know he will be well looked after.

The Butterfly Patch is an amazing nursery and preschool. The staff are very caring and give wonderful feedback about my child’s day and development. Activities are innovative and creative to support my son’s independence. Would recommend this nursery to all parents.
