Inclusion & environment
Staff are very mindful of the impact that the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has had on children's personal, social and emotional development. With effective tailored support from staff, these children catch up quickly and make good progress in their personal and social and emotional development. Staff identify when some children may need additional support in order to make good progress. They make sure that they seek timely support from relevant professionals, such as speech and language teams.
Staff ensure that all children have daily opportunities for fresh air and exercise. They successfully widen children's experiences by visiting the fish quay, beach, marina, and parks, and have weekly visits to a 'Fit Hub' for physical play.
My 3 year old recently started here and is thriving. The staff are fantastic and have been so good at helping him settle in and feel at ease. He loves the huge variety of activities, the outings they go on and he is learning so many skills in preparation for school. Couldn't recommend the nursery more!
Read on GoogleMy son has attended this nursery for over 3 years now and I honestly can’t praise them highly enough. They have been so invested in his growth and development since he was a baby, and are so hugely supportive of us as a family. The staff really take the time to get to know the children, and cater to their interests. They are always out and about on adventures, which is great! They go far and wide and experience all sorts. They also offer a fantastic selection of visiting classes such as yoga, dance, football, nature crafts… The sensory rooms are just incredible, there’s a lovely mix of modern and more traditional resources, the preschool sessions are really bringing my son on ready for school, and he is always very well fed! Highly recommended 👍🏻
Read on GoogleAll the staff at Little Hubbers are so welcoming and great at what they do! My little one isn’t the best at leaving us to go to nursery but all the staff do a brill job with calming him down so he ends up having the best day of playing! Alongside this, the staff are really good with communicating via messaging/texts/phone to put my mind at ease as well! Seeing the uploaded photos to the Facebook page of our little one playing at nursery throughout the day really helps with parents who are nervous at leaving their babies with someone else for the day. There are so many different food options that they give to the little ones and this has really brought my little one on in regards to trying new foods at home. All the nursery is spotlessly clean and there are plenty of great toys do the children to play and learn with. They always make sure all the children go out for daily walks to the park and surrounding seaside for exercise and a bit of fresh sea air! I would recommend Little Hubbers to all parents, keep up the good work 😊
Read on GoogleMy daughter absolutely loves it here. She has the best time playing with all of their high tech equipment, the soft play and the cosy sensory room. The kids go on regular days out to the park, the beach, trips to South Shields, the farm - my daughter always comes home happy and tired. The staff are great too, they genuinely care about the kids and their families. Nothing is too much trouble and they tend to individual needs fantastically. I can’t praise this nursery enough, I’ll be sad when she has to leave.
Read on GoogleSo glad we decided to change to Little Hubbers as the nursery choice for our little girl. This new nursery is amazing! They go out everyday, the activities they do are great and interactive. The equipment they have is second to none and the way they have the nursery laid out is great for all ages. My little girl was a little upset when she first went as it was new but without having to check up, I got updates from the girls which is great. I know who her key worker is which is a big thing for me. Keep up the great work 💕
