About this day nursery

Little Jigsaw's Children's Day Nursery offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children are cared for by a team of highly qualified professionals. The nursery embraces a 'Hygge' philosophy, fostering a warm, comforting, and homelike atmosphere.

With a strong leadership team, including a Qualified Children’s Nurse as the owner, and all staff trained in paediatric first aid, safety is a top priority; the nursery is actively working towards Millie's Mark accreditation. A qualified early years teacher leads the pre-school programme, ensuring children are well-prepared for their transition to school.

The nursery is open from 7 am to 6 pm and provides free nappies, formula milk for babies up to 9 months, and all meals including breakfast, dinner, and an afternoon snack. They also offer valuable resources for parents, such as free choking awareness sessions.

Community engagement is evident through visits to local care homes for intergenerational projects, community walks, and trips to the local library. The nursery prides itself on its dedicated staff, sensory room for emotional regulation, sign language lessons, and various engaging activities like caring for living things in their vegetable garden and fostering Timmy the tortoise.

They are committed to inclusivity with multi-lingual staff and a highly qualified Additional Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO). The nursery emphasises strong parent partnerships, viewing them as an extended family, and promotes environmental awareness, oral health, and active involvement in charitable initiatives.

Additionally, they provide a free Famly app for daily updates and photos.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Nursery with Incredible Staff! Jigsaw Nursery has been a fantastic place for our daughter, Rose. Since starting, she has come on leaps and bounds, becoming more confident and happy every day. The staff are not only professional but also incredibly loving and down to earth, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her. What really sets Jigsaw apart is how they’ve supported our family personally through hard and difficult times. Their kindness and understanding have meant the world to us, and it’s clear that they truly care about Rose and our family. We’ve seen so much growth in Rose, and it's all thanks to the dedicated team at Jigsaw who go above and beyond to help her thrive. We are so grateful for everything they’ve done! Thank you to all the amazing staff at Jigsaw Nursery for making such a positive impact on Rose’s life and ours! Thank you
