Little Leaders Childcare Framlingham offers a nurturing environment for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years, operating 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm. The nursery is part of a group of six settings across Suffolk, all committed to fostering an exciting natural environment where children can learn and explore.
The dedicated team, led by directors with over two decades of experience in Early Years education, prioritises each child's individual needs. They implement "The Curiosity Approach," encouraging imagination and critical thinking through child-led planning and natural resources.
This approach, combined with Forest School and Beach School sessions, provides unique opportunities for outdoor learning and fun. The nursery provides nutritious meals, including a two-course hot lunch, a light tea, and snacks.
Funding options like government schemes for 15 and 30 hours, as well as Tax-Free Childcare, are accepted to support families. While specific fees are available upon contact, funded sessions include a charge for additional services such as food, consumables, and Forest School activities, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience for all children.
Our ethos
We use the Curiosity Approach to help the children use their imagination, curious minds and magical thoughts to develop and grow. We have a calm, tranquil approach to learning through loose parts and natural resources, which helps the children to think creatively and critically. We have child led planning which allows the children to follow their own path and create a magical environment to learn in. We follow ‘The Curiosity Approach’ which helps the children learn in a natural environment with resources that inspire curiosity, awe and wonder. We have Forest school and Beach school sessions which allow the children to learn outdoors and have lots of fun!

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
parents speak of the excellent progress their children have made and how well prepared they are for their future learning.
They state that the staff and setting are 'beyond exceptional'.
Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress due to staff knowing children well and planning purposely for their future learning.
Children enjoy playing outside in the garden with their friends, using different tools to strengthen hand muscles, developing physical skills by climbing, and learning to take risks by navigating a steep slope to watch ducks.
Been amazing with both my son's, one of which has cerebral palsey and nothing was ever too much trouble
