Little Oaks Playschool, previously known as Badingham Playschool, is an Ofsted-Outstanding nursery school and day care facility serving children from 3 months to 5 years old. The playschool moved to a new, purpose-built location in Dennington in August 2023.

They are open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, for 48 weeks of the year. The staff are experienced in working with children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities.

Little Oaks Playschool prides itself on providing high-quality care and education, fostering a warm and trusting environment, and supporting families by offering flexible care arrangements. The playschool has strong connections with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition for children.

They provide healthy snacks and offer optional breakfast and lunch, catering to various dietary needs. Their ethos revolves around giving every child a great start in life, achieved by being inclusive, providing flexible care to maximise funding, and offering early help when necessary.

The playschool actively encourages continuous professional development for its staff and participates in research to advance early years practices. They have received several awards, including the Health and Wellbeing Award - Winner 2025 and were highly commended for the Eco-friendly Award in 2025.

The playschool has also been recognised for Best Educational Leader and Setting of the Year.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around a flat hourly rate for all age groups, with additional optional charges for meals. A consumables and extras fee is charged for funded hours on an opt-in basis, and a one-off waiting list admin fee may apply.
