About this day nursery

Little Learners Childcare, established in 2015, provides an outstanding early years experience for children aged 1 to 4 years old. 30 am to 6 pm, excluding a week at Christmas, the nursery is a "special place" where children are eager to attend and greet staff enthusiastically.

The well-being of children and families is central to their approach, ensuring children feel safe and secure. The highly effective learning environment is stimulating and engaging, with activities tailored to individual needs, leading to children being deeply involved in exploring and building on their existing knowledge and skills.

For instance, children enjoy exploring the new painting wall, proudly displaying their artwork. The nursery operates an ambitious curriculum, offering broad experiences and encouraging independent exploration and problem-solving, even when children are painting outside and need to find ways to hold their paper down.

My daughter attends this nursery and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. All of the staff are warm and welcoming and they were great at supporting me and my daughter whilest she was settling in. They have great communication between staff and parent. The actual nursery itself is beautiful and I really love their child led approach to learning. It’s been a great start in education for my daughter, she has grown so much in confidence and has really thrived there!

If like me your child’s start in life is one of the most important things you can do for them then Little Learners is the nursery for you. I found them by chance and I’m so glad I did. I just happened to be talking to a lady, who previously worked for Ofsted and was running a local playgroup my son went to before I returned to work and she told me that Little Learners was one of the best she had ever been too. She also indicted they were setting up in Northampton. Having been through the nursery system with my first child I was fully aware of what was on offer and I wasn’t all that impressed having visited a lot of nurseries all over Northampton. Naturally I was keen to have a look so I went along before it was finished and I signed my son up straight away. Four years later I have absolutely no regrets. I won’t lie I live in Abington and on some days it’s a full 40 min round trip just to drop him off (this is at rush hr) and the car parking can be frustrating but it’s totally worth it. My son has thrived here, he comes home happy and some days he doesn’t want to leave. I too have made friends some of which I will continue to see even when he leaves to go to school in September. The staff are truly excellent and money is re-invested. The settings are incredible and my son even likes the meals. They really care and I can honestly say that it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Fantastic Nursery that really allows the children to be creative. My daughter loves it and can't get to sleep quick enough if she know's she has Nursery the next day. The guys at the nursery are extremely friendly and always take the time to give us feedback on how our daughters day has been.
