Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive very good levels of care. They take part in a wide range of learning opportunities carefully tailored to their individual needs, alongside their peers. The special educational needs coordinator supports staff to identify each child's needs well. Staff work in full cooperation with other agencies to ensure that all children, including those with SEND, get the support they need.
Children develop good physical skills through a range of activities. For example, in the garden, children work together to build a tower of bricks. They collect the bricks in a wheelbarrow and skilfully manoeuvre it, avoiding any obstacles. Pre-school children put on their own coats before going outside.
This is an outstanding nursery. Our little boy started in May aged 9 months and we have been so impressed with the staff, facilities, activities and culture at Little Learners. We have seen our boy’s confidence grow exponentially since starting. The staff genuinely care for the children in their care and our son loves going in each day. Staff in Explorers have been particularly brilliant - thank you! We are moving out of the area and are so sad to be leaving this wonderful nursery.
Read on GoogleWe really feel like we hit the jackpot with this nursery. My son settled in there seamlessly and has grown and developed so much in the short time he’s been there. It’s so lovely to see how excited he gets when we arrive in the morning and the staff are so knowledgable and supportive.
