Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School provides care in Newcastle upon Tyne for children aged from birth to four years. Ofsted inspected the nursery in April 2026 and gave it an overall rating of 'Good'. The report noted that children thrive and form strong relationships with staff. The inspector highlighted the excellent support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, with staff working with agencies like speech and language therapists. Staff develop children's communication using books, singing and a 'word of the week' strategy. Children have opportunities for outdoor play in the nursery garden, which includes climbing and balancing equipment.

Staff have high expectations for children's learning, even in the pre-school room where children learn to discriminate sounds and begin to learn about letters.

Pricing & funding

Fees are charged throughout the year, with standard rates still applying during bank holidays, sickness, and holidays. Meal charges are billed separately per session, although these fees are voluntary for children attending under fully funded places.
