What it's like to attend

• Children are happy and feel safe in the home-from-home environment, demonstrating a true sense of belonging within the nursery.
• Children are engaged and motivated in their chosen activities, showing a willingness to learn and try new things, with older children creating letters and safely using scissors.
• The curriculum is designed to help children become confident and independent, consistently preparing them for the next stage in their learning.
• Staff prioritise children's language development, engaging them in interesting conversations and narrating their play, exposing children to a wide range of nursery rhymes and action songs.
• Children develop their physical strength through climbing equipment and running in the garden, with staff modelling different movements.
• Children learn about their community through fundraising events, learning about emergency services, and celebrating local events like Remembrance Day.
• Parental partnerships are a strength, with leaders and staff working to ensure parents feel part of the "Little Spark's family" through regular invitations to participate in activities and shared information.
