The latest Ofsted inspection, on 9 September 2025, rated the playgroup as "Good" overall. " The playgroup prides itself on its strong support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), utilising individualised strategies like visual timetables and communication boards.
Staff work closely with parents and external professionals to ensure tailored support, helping children make steady progress. Both indoor and outdoor play areas are central to the quality of education provided, with children readily changing shoes for different environments.
The playgroup, established in 1987 and re-registered in 2008, continues to offer a rich range of experiences, including celebrating various festivals and learning about diverse cultures, which are incorporated into the curriculum.

Amazing staff and the communication is excellent. I couldn’t be happier with this playgroup- my son loves it there.
