Little Toes Day Nursery is a family-operated childcare provider that commenced its journey in February 2017 with a crèche service, expanding to become Ofsted registered by August of the same year. In January 2019, they opened Little Toes Clifton in a former police station.
The nursery group offers a secure and nurturing environment for children from six weeks to five years old. Their educational philosophy is greatly influenced by Anna Ephgrave's work, emphasising learning through play where children lead their own developmental journey within a homelike setting.
They strive to offer exceptional childcare, focusing on fostering early learning in an engaging environment where children can safely explore and develop. The curriculum is developed with curriculum and childcare experts to ensure a smooth transition to school.
They aim to provide high-quality care that supports children's curiosity, facilitates social interaction, and establishes a safe space for their growth.

Inclusion & environment
Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities well. They work in partnerships with the other professionals involved in their care to ensure that the children get the support they need to make the best possible progress.
Staff do not plan well enough for outdoor play. Opportunities for children to benefit from fresh air and take part in physical exercise outdoors are not consistent. Children who do not attend for a full day spend very limited time outside.
This is an absolute paradise for little ones. I have seen my now school age little girl grow into such a confident and loving little person. My younger little girl has gone from 7m to now 2y old and it’s her second home! A true family like nursery adapting to parents and little ones need; truly caring for their little community. Couldn’t recommend them more!
