Inclusion & environment
Children with additional needs receive high levels of support from staff. Leaders work very closely with support agencies to ensure staff are equipped fully to meet the advanced needs of the children that attend. Leaders embed the guidance and strategies from these agencies consistently. As such, all children, including those with additional needs, and those who receive additional funding, make significant progress in their learning.
When completing an obstacle course, toddlers learn how far or high to step, to safely move through each section of the course. Older children learn balance and coordination as they negotiate an assault course and climb into the 'crow's nest' of their pirate ship. This also supports their physical development.
We moved our baby from a small local nursery, where everything was done with care and attention to her needs, expecting Little Elms Catford Green to offer the same or better. Sadly, it turned out to be a nightmare for our child. There were serious incidents of misconduct — the most alarming being that they gave sugar to our pre‑diabetic baby. When challenged, they claimed they were “washing the peach compote,” which is unacceptable and shows disregard for her medical needs. On another occasion, they falsely told us our baby had a fever when she was simply unsettled. Such dishonesty is deeply troubling. The only reason we stayed as long as we did was because of the extraordinary efforts of Crystal, who genuinely tried to make things better for our child. Without her, we would have left even sooner. Little Elms Catford Green needs urgent investigation by Ofsted, as what we experienced falls far below acceptable nursery standards. Parents deserve transparency and proper care, and unfortunately, this nursery did not provide it.
Read on GoogleEvery morning our son looks forward to have breakfast at nursery with his little friends, seeing them all sitting down patiently ready for kiddy breakfast melts my heart every time. The nursery is clean and modern, we are always greeted by staff with kindness and with a smile, and it's always been like this from the first day. All the staff is caring, including the kitchen staff, who all make effort to get to know our son. They always consider any concerns about babies, and they make parents feel part of the nursery experience too. We love that the kids are allowed out in the garden a lot. We are very happy!!! Thanks!

Read on GoogleWe've been really happy with all aspects of our son's time at Little Elms Catford Green so far. He settled in really well despite the pandemic and moving nurseries in the middle of it. His key worker, Lucy, and all the team in the baby room have been great, he's so happy to see them in the morning and they've helped his speech come on in leaps and bounds. Kim and Millie are really responsive and send regular informative emails that really make us feel updated as needed. Many thanks team!!
Read on GoogleLittle Elms Catford Green are a perfect example of why the Staff should be one of the most important considerations when choosing a nursery. Our 2 year old daughter has been wonderfully cared for, 3 days per week, for the past year. The staff are caring, attentive, and offer a stimulating and social environment for the children. Individual requests are taken on board by the staff and with their help, we were able to potty train from 18 months. The Nursery is modern, clean, and offers a variety of activities and secure outdoor play facilities. Real time updates on the Famly app have been a welcomed addition in the past 6 months in our household, particularly knowing how much or little sleep our daughter achieved during her midday nap, and thus how much of a meltdown to expect when she gets home XD. Thank you little Elms Catford Green!
