Inclusion & environment
In-house training helps staff to build on their knowledge of how to use sign language to support children's speaking skills. This is particularly beneficial for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to help them to communicate. Children with SEND are supported well. Additional funding is used to provide one-to-one support from staff to implement children's individual targets and help them to develop. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to identify how they can meet children's individual needs.
Outside in the garden, when it rains, children show excitement to jump in puddles, and laugh with staff and their peers. They develop their coordination as they move from one foot to another when they stamp in the water. Children develop their balance as they walk across a low-level beam, with staff supporting their confidence and safety.

Full and honest review. I wouldn’t send my boy anywhere else in the area, the nursery is a very clean and a comfortable setting. The staff are amazing genuinely, handovers take place effectively and I always feel like you get to hear about his day. The guys do a lot of activities with the littles and I always see messy trays, various different set ups (animals/cars) daily to keep the children engaged. They spend a lot of time painting, playing outside and learning new things like Zumbini or Disco Dough. It’s lovely to see a nursery actively take a child’s development (not just care needs) into account. I’m really thankful for the staff they have here and always feel a sense of trust and care is at the forefront. Reception are super responsive, I’ve never not been able to get through and registration was well managed. Parent stay and plays, Nativity Sing Alongs, Mothers Day and Fathers Day stay and plays are all celebrated here. St Patrick’s, Eid and Diwali are all celebrated and give early insights to culture and I love that. The cost is expensive, and it does seem to rise. The increases are significant 4 days a week cost me an extra £200 a month in the latest change. Personally we had to make a call whether to change setting and decided that I really wouldn’t feel comfortable with my boy being anywhere else for all the above reasons. It’s quality care worth paying for, but you’ll need to consider any increases and the feasibility prior to securing a place. To finish on a positive Danielle, Courtney and Alicia have been brilliant throughout and the staff genuinely care and get to know the children individually, One thing to note is that turnaround is not a thing here, the staff clearly enjoy what they do and stick around. It’s evident the staff are invested in and they subsequently are invested in the nursery. Would recommend 100%

We couldn’t be happier with Cherubs Longdale. From day one, the team have been incredibly welcoming and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about everything they do. Danielle, Amiee, Georgie, Darcy and Jess are all fantastic, always friendly, polite and approachable. It’s obvious they take a real interest in helping our son grow, learn and build his confidence. Our son absolutely loves going to nursery, which says everything. He’s always excited to go and comes home happy, which gives us real peace of mind as first time parents. The app is fantastic with regular updates throughout the day especially the photos, which make it great to see all the activities he’s been getting up to. The level of communication, care and professionalism is outstanding. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone. Thank you all for everything you do ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
