What it's like to attend

• The manager is improvement focused and has worked closely with the local authority to lead evident developments within the setting.
• The manager and staff have considered the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's development and provide opportunities to develop physical skills and agility, including a children's gym and visits to the local park.
• The manager is invested in supporting staff''s continued professional development, with relevant training benefiting the children greatly, such as daily forest school sessions led by trained staff.
• Staff have built a curriculum around the different areas of children's learning and development, offering opportunities and experiences which support the curriculum well.
• Staff use appropriate behaviour management strategies to shape children's positive behaviour and help them find the language to resolve their own conflicts.
• The manager has established an effective key-person system, through which children's individual care and development needs are met by familiar staff.
• Children are supported well to look after their own bodies, learning about oral hygiene and healthy eating.
