The nursery operates a key-person system, fostering close bonds between staff and children, especially new attendees, ensuring sensitive and responsive care that supports emotional well-being. Attentive supervision gives children the confidence to explore stimulating environments.
The curriculum is designed to keep children engaged and motivated, with inviting play areas that encourage socialisation and early reading. Staff effectively promote children's creativity and imagination, for instance, by engaging them in activities like making shadows with torches.

Staff observe and assess children's learning regularly. They promptly address any concerns, which is particularly beneficial for children with speech delays or those children who speak English as an additional language.
Staff provide children with regular opportunities to be active and practise their gross motor skills in the garden or during local walks.
I’ve visited a few times now to this nursery and the children are happy and playing nicely. The staff are friendly and clearly care about their children. There are plenty of toys for free play, the babies sleep well at lunchtime with the lights low. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming.
