SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are soon identified, and strong links are formed with parents and outside agencies to provide targeted support. The SENDCo ensures children with SEND have detailed learning plans developed collaboratively and regularly reviewed for good progress. Maden Early Years supports a number of children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Activities outdoors can sometimes lack focus, with children running around and not settling, leading to less focused learning compared to indoors. There is a need to develop the outdoor curriculum to provide a stimulating and organised area for children to learn.
