The inspector observed children showing exceptional problem-solving skills and perseverance, such as when they collaborated to move a large dish of water outdoors. The nursery staff effectively use outdoor learning opportunities; for example, encouraging older children to recognise letters in their names by aiming at words displayed outside while at play, supporting early literacy and physical development.

Parents are very complimentary, praising the team effort in developing an online support community, particularly during national restrictions. Staff are skilled at fostering independence and instilling confidence in children of all ages, from babies determined to climb steps to older children who are skilful communicators, engaging in discussions and articulating their ideas with high levels of confidence.

When children need pans to collect water, staff offer sieves, leading to children jumping and giggling as they shout "no, they have holes in, we need pans".
