Manor Farm Nursery, nestled in the picturesque Cotswolds countryside, offers a distinctive early years education within a working farm environment. Catering to children from three months to five years old, the nursery provides a stimulating and nurturing atmosphere where children can develop confidence, curiosity, and essential life skills.
The setting is housed in beautifully converted farm buildings, featuring six distinct rooms tailored to different age groups, each filled with natural light and designed for warmth and comfort. Outdoors, children have access to secure play areas, a sensory garden, a vegetable patch, and enclosures for various farm animals, including ponies, pigs, chickens, and rabbits.
This unique environment allows children to engage in hands-on experiences like feeding animals, tending to the garden, and exploring the surrounding fields and woodland. The curriculum balances adult-led activities with child-initiated play, encouraging independence and school readiness.
Manor Farm Nursery aims to provide a "home from home" feel, ensuring every child feels known, valued, and nurtured within a close-knit community. They also offer a Holiday Club for primary school-aged children, providing a range of outdoor adventures and creative projects during school breaks.
The nursery prides itself on its unique combination of outstanding education, genuine outdoor experiences, and individual attention.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who require additional support are very well supported. Staff have a very good knowledge of children's starting points and how best to move them to the next stage. The special educational needs coordinator makes referrals to outside agencies in a timely manner and supports parents well. This ensures children get all the help they require to make progress in their development.
Children of all ages benefit from daily fresh air and physical exercise. Babies enjoy walks around the farm in pushchairs and opportunities to see the animals. Toddlers learn the importance of caring for animals when they feed and stroke the rabbits. Older children pedal bicycles and tractors and work together to push tractors up a grass mound for faster rides.
Manor Farm is the most wonderful nursery! The kids get to run around outside all day, the teachers are all absolutely lovely and our kids couldn't be happier there. We feel really lucky to have such a wonderful nursery nearby.
