Pippa's Barn offers flexible, affordable, and high-quality home-based childcare, led by Pippa, a dedicated professional with nine years of experience. The nursery has been open for three years and is supported by a team of six trained professionals and two apprentices.
The entire team is trained in safeguarding and first aid, and they continuously enhance their knowledge through various additional courses. The facility features largely open-plan rooms and gardens, all meticulously risk-assessed for safety.
A wide array of indoor and outdoor toys and play equipment is available, with the main garden being fully enclosed for all-weather enjoyment and age-specific outdoor areas for different groups. Pippa's Barn adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, tailoring its plans to each child's individual learning and development needs.
They provide diverse activities and experiences to foster children's full potential across all seven areas of learning. Conveniently located on a children's farm, the setting is easily accessible on foot from Lechlade or by car, with ample parking.
Children can also enjoy walks along grassy tracks to woodland play areas, observing friendly farm animals. The nursery also has a seven-seater car, fully insured for transporting children to and from school, and for occasional outings to places like the library or garden centre.
