Manor Grove Montessori, established in 2008, is a day nursery led by owner Felicity Fenemore, who holds a Montessori International Diploma, a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, and Early Years Professional Status, as well as being a qualified Forest School Leader. The nursery prides itself on its Montessori approach, which encourages children to explore materials independently, fostering a joyful learning experience and building confidence.

This method covers key developmental areas such as daily living skills, sensorial learning, language, mathematics, and understanding of the world. The nursery aims to provide a strong foundation for a child's education, offering both full-time and part-time attendance options with a focus on flexibility to accommodate parents' needs.

They also offer a 10% sibling discount. Manor Grove is registered with Buckinghamshire County Council to provide funded childcare for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds.

Meals are prepared on-site by a resident cook, with a focus on healthy, balanced options and accommodating weaning babies with pureed fresh ingredients sourced locally. The nursery also involves children in cooking and gardening activities to promote healthy lifestyles.

The dedicated staff are all highly skilled, hold current first aid certificates, and regularly receive training.

What it's like

Staff teach children how to keep themselves safe, for example, by learning about road safety and wearing helmets when riding tricycles. Children develop good relationships with their key person and are happy and confident, selecting and returning toys independently. They are well behaved and show kind and respectful behaviour towards their peers, copying positive behaviours from staff.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age bands for children under and over two years old. The nursery offers weekly full-time care, individual full days, school days, and morning or afternoon sessions. Additional services include breakfast and after-school clubs, extra hours, and meal options for funded sessions.
