Children who speak English as an additional language progress well from their starting points, and staff actively support them to learn English alongside their home language.
Fantastic nursery - couldn't have asked for more. We were very nervous about sending out 13 month year old to nursery in general, even though she's very social. You're putting a lot of trust in strangers hands. We initially went to a nursery on our road, which was convenient and well-rated by Ofsted. Our settling-in days were not positive and I had a terrible gut feel about it after sitting in on some sessions. We made the decision to look elsewhere. When we saw Maria Poppins, we were instantly taken by the lovely setting (great space, lighting, array of activities) and the wonderful staff. We made the choice to exit the other nursery during settles and join Maria Poppins. The settle sessions were handled so well, and our daughter absolutely loves attending. The location is further than other nurseries for us, but that has been worth it. Highly recommended as you'll see from other parent reviews.
Read on GoogleWe absolutely love this nursery! The teachers are kind, patient, and attentive to every child’s needs. My daughter has grown so much in confidence and happiness since joining. I couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleOur son has been with Maria Poppins since he was 9 months old. He leaves soon at 4.5. The staff are like friends who we will all miss greatly. They have cared for son beautifully and he has developed in to a bright boy in part to the teams nurturing, teaching and encouragement. My husband and I have made great parent friends and our son has made best friends who we are confident will be around for a long time. I would absolutely recommend Maria Poppins, we completely lucked out with this nursery.
Read on GoogleBoth our daughters were looked after by the María Poppins team, and they honestly couldn’t have had a better start in life. They are a wonderful group of committed professionals who always felt like a second family. We were very sad to say goodbye.
Read on GoogleIt has been so amazing watching my daughter develop at Maria Poppins! She has so much fun, and made so many friends. I have no words to thank the staff enough, they are fabulous and make me feel so confident in leaving her at nursery, there is no other place I would trust my daughter’s care. 💚 I’m beyond grateful for that, it means SO much to me.
