What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

communication is excellent and they always feel well informed of what their children are learning and how this can be extended at home

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is good. Staff are quick to identify where children may need additional support, and they collaborate with parents and other agencies to achieve the next outcomes for all children.

Outdoor space

As staff quickly get toddlers ready for the garden, they rush to put on their coats and hats for them, rather than slowing down to give them the opportunity to practise these skills themselves.

Our daughter is really enjoying her time at this nursery. The staff are all very attentive and friendly. The nursery has a good layout with plenty of natural light and a safe outdoor space. The fees are very reasonable and the management staff have been accommodating with our specific needs when making changes to arrangements. Updates and correspondence via the Famly app portal is also very beneficial for ease of communication and provides welcome insight to each days activities. I feel confident my daughter is in safe hands. I have only had positive interactions and my daughter is always in a joyful mood when I collect her at the end of the day.

Young and smart is a brilliant nursery, my son has been going since he was 1 and he has learnt so much since he has been there, I can tell he is comfortable with the staff as he always leaves the nursery with a smile. The staff are amazing, I receive updates online, throughout day where I can see how my son is getting on which really helps to put my mind at ease. I would definitely recommend this nursery as I generally have nothing bad to say.
