About this day nursery

Market Bosworth Day Nursery, registered in 2002, provides a warm and welcoming environment where children up to four years old thrive. The nursery prides itself on making strong bonds with families and understanding each child's individual needs, ensuring a smooth transition into daily activities, even if a child is a little unsettled at first.

Staff are dedicated to promoting communication and language development, utilising simple sign language and fostering confidence in children to express themselves effectively. The nursery also places a strong emphasis on independence and supports children in various aspects of self-care, alongside promoting an understanding of the world through cultural celebrations and outdoor exploration.

The setting receives funding for two-, three- and four-year-old children and operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6 pm, all year round, with a short break at Christmas. With a team of six childcare staff, five of whom hold Level 3 qualifications, the nursery is committed to providing good-quality care and learning.

My son has attended MBDN since he was 2 and yesterday he had his graduation for primary school. The nursery has been an extension of my family and have been nothing but supportive with speech and behaviour. The nursery is in a beautiful home from home setting which we loved! Anna and the team have been amazing from the start and I cannot thank them enough!

We would highly recommend Market Bosworth Day Nursery to anyone looking for quality childcare. The facilities and garden space at the nursery are the best we saw when viewing local nurseries and Anna and her team have given our children nothing but love and care over the last three years. The children are always doing new and exciting activities that help with their individual development and, because this is a smaller nursery, the staff know our children and their needs very well. There's also lots of themed days and opportunities for dressing up, learning about the world and trying new things which the kids love (Children in Need, Diwali, World Book Day, Christmas etc). Anna and the team support and reinforce our parenting style whilst providing a home from home environment. The children are given a healthy and varied diet which includes plenty of fruit and veg. We haven't had a single day where our children have not wanted to go in to nursery and to have them so happy is testament to how good the nursery is.

Our LO has attended Market Bosworth Day Nursery since he turned one. Anna & her staff have been nothing but honest, kind, caring & nurturing. Anna was open and honest in her responses to any questions or concerns we had at our first meeting. They keep us up to date with LOs activities and development through conversation or journal entries. They give us ideas or activities for us to do at home with our LO and encourage us to keep them up to date with home life so they can continue any routines, talk about home and important people with our LO or support their learning. At nursery our LO seems to take part in a whole variety of activities or imaginative play including regular play in the wonderful outdoor space - which really is amazing. They have done some lovely things with the outdoor space and there is something for children of all ages to enjoy. The indoor space is also lovely for the size of the nursery and our LO enjoys the opportunity to interact with children of different ages. They have also always had a varied and healthy food menu, encouraged to drink water, changed nappies at regular intervals and more if needed, kept our LO warm and dry if they go outside and changed him into clean clothes if needed. They show patience & support if our LO struggles with anything. They send out general or personal communications or updates via the journal which is really convenient and lovely to see. It’s lovely to see that our LO is excited to go to nursery and walks straight in which is a big sign that he’s comfortable with the place and the people.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 7 months old. As a new parent, I was very nervous and anxious. However, Market Bosworth Day Nursery with the excellent staff, safe environment and care that they provide has not only built my daughters confidence; but her development is beyond her age. We see an improvement almost every day, due to the brilliant staff at Market Bosworth Day Nursery. She loves attending nursery and is stimulated throughout the time she is there. The staff are constantly teaching the children new skills, learnings, manners and embracing all cultures on special occasions. In addition, the staff take out personal time to attend forums/events to develop new learnings for the children. They are also very helpful and supporting towards your requirements. My daughter enjoys eating at nursery where they offer a wide variety of healthy meals freshly prepared. The staff deserve much credit and appreciation. I will recommend this nursery for any parent.

My daughter has been going here since she was 9 months old and I can’t rate it enough, Anna and her team treat her like she is their own and I think it’s a statement enough that I have never had one day that my daughter has not wanted to go. The activities they do with them are so creative and really does engage my daughters imagination especially as I work full time and I hand on heart would not want to leave her anywhere else. She has healthy diverse meals there along with active fun (the garden is to die for) and early learning which she always talks me through all the home when I have picked her up. They genuinely deserve more credit than they are given for what they do with our little ones and I can only ever thank them enough. I have no problem being contacted as a reference.
