Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress. Staff quickly spot when children might need extra help and arrange suitable support for them.

Outdoor space

There are several play spaces outdoors that children have access to. Children use their physical skills as they rock on the seesaw, and some go to look at the sheep in the farmer's field next door. At times, staff working with the toddlers focus on the children's physical skills and do not extend other areas of development as effectively as they do indoors.

EAL / language support

All children, including those who are learning to speak English as an additional language, make good progress. Staff talk with parents about children's home lives and cultures and find out words in children's home languages, using this information to help children settle when they first start.
