How they support every child

SEND provision

They work closely with parents and professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech and language therapists, to ensure consistency in the strategies used. My daughter came from the age of 9 months until she left to go to school and loved her time at Meadows! She still talks about the fun times she had, 3 years on, often asking to pop by and see the staff there!

Despite all positive reviews and outstanding ofsted ratings, I was really disappointed with Meadows & the way they handled things. As a first time parent desperately trying to find availability, I booked my son in here as best option. Despite their surroundings & what they claim to offer, I feel it is very out dated. Not only did I have someone say to me during his second settle session that “you’re not allowed in, we only hand over at the door” which made me cry leaving him & thinking this was normal for a nursery, but my son never enjoyed it. I wish I hadn’t been torn in to their agreement. I had generic hand overs, he was forced to have a routine that every other child did in baby room & I was completely shut out & not included in his care and development. Compared to the nursery he is in now it is worlds apart, completely open, inclusive and supportive of every child’s needs that brings you in the journey too. Even their paperwork was outdated and painful to go through. I wish I knew better so he didn’t have this unsettling, but goes to show an old ofted rating & grounds does not make a good provider.

Couldn't recommend this nursery enough. The staff are excellent. The nursery provided a invaluable service to keyworkers when my daughter's previous nursery had closed without notice due to Covid and I was left without any childcare. The setting is beautiful, huge stunning garden. The staff really were so welcoming and professional. The children have structure, learning and fun! My daughter loved her time here and all the children seemed happy. 5 stars. Thank you!
