My little boy has been here for approx 2 years now. I can’t fault the nursery at all. Even through major changes, all staff have been so incredibly loving and patient with my son. My son is a more quiet and shy boy and there was a lot of anxiety from myself putting him into a nursery environment, however the staff allowed him to have an extended settle in period, it lasted months and was totally constructed around my sons comfort. Over the last 2 years, my son has now become a self assured and confident little boy. He loves the staff dearly and talks about them at home. Any issues have been resolved efficiently with brilliant communication. I trust that my son is taken care of and treated like an individual. He is able to learn and grow depending on what his current needs desire, like a loose child-led / Montessori style as he has at home, where he guides his development. Love this nursery, wouldn’t have him anywhere else and it’s well worth the travel here. Big thank you to the staff and team for all of their work and patience!

Both of my daughters have attended Ridgemount. My eldest daughter is now six years old and attended from the age of 9 months. My youngest is now four years old and I'm already feeling a bit sad about her leaving Ridgemount in the summer. My daughters have absolutely thrived here and my husband and I have been privileged to see the nursery change and develop over the years, going from strength to strength. Many of the staff have been at Ridgemount for years which signifies their happiness working there which has in turn helped my children to flourish. The staff always have the children's best interests at heart. I feel comfortable and secure leaving my youngest in their excellent care and attribute many of the strengths my daughters have to the wonderful staff at Ridgemount. This is a truly remarkable nursery. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Our children have been attending Ridgemount since 2019 and both of them love it! I knew it was the nursery for us when Stew offered to carry my eldest as we looked around; as a tired new mum, that was a welcome relief! The nursery has a real family feel to it and the extra events they put on throughout the year really help us parents to see the environment our children play in and the bonds they have with the staff. Our eldest still chats happily to the staff when he picks up his brother, even though it's over two years since he left! The staff at Ridgemount are fantastic, they are always smiling and happy to see my son when he arrives, you would never know if they were having a bad day. The activities they do are great, yoga is a particularly favourite for my son and the recent Christmas carol service was so lovely! Thank you Ridgemount for all that you do for our family, we will be sad to say goodbye in the summer!

I really feel that a place for your child at Ridgemount Cottage Nursery is an opportunity you shouldn’t pass up on. They provide such a rich learning environment for the children with their large outdoor play areas where Chickens are raised and food is grown…not to mention their children’s yoga and mindfulness sessions which my son really loves. And I speak of every single member of staff when I say that it is clear that the job is not just a job but a calling to them. They really enjoy working with your children and know them really well as individuals. Whenever I read a report they wrote about my son I felt that I couldn’t have said it better so they certainly are paying attention. The lunches are great too, nice and healthy.

My son has been going to Ridgemount for several years and I can’t fault the setting at all! He’s received constant support throughout with all staff exceeding expectations on how to support and encourage him. It’s given him the opportunity to grow into his own personality while having staff there to help and care for him all while teaching getting him ready for his next steps. Throughout his time there the staff have been passionate about his learning and development and I wouldn’t want him to be anywhere else. The nursery is extremely well ran and exceeds all my expectations on how a nursery can support and care for children.
