Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Staff work very closely with parents and other agencies to support children's progress and understand the needs of individual children. This ensures that children's needs are well planned for and that early help is identified, where necessary.

Outdoor space

Both indoor and outdoor environments are very well organised. They offer ample learning opportunities for children. During lockdown, the opportunity was taken to build an outdoor classroom for all children to use as an additional resource. Children benefit from a large well-designed outdoor play area. They confidently develop their physical skills as they expertly climb and use wheeled toys. They also learn about the environment during planting and growing activities.

Amazing nursery,I was just reading my son who is now 7 a bed time story. He said I love this book I used to read it at nursery all the time, it reminds me of my nursery. That in itself says it all. Happy child, happy mum. Years later he remembers fond memories. We still attend and are invited to the annual bbq. Mill House is more than a nursery its a family home where children thrive emotionally and educationally. You are blessed if you child manages to get a place there.

Great place for our child to grow, learn and play. From day one she is thriving, and she absolutely loves going to the nursery. Friendly staff, perfect service and fabulous setting. I can’t thank you enough for all your efforts. If I could I would have given even more stars. Really happy that we’ve found you xxx
