Children also have access to dedicated outdoor spaces, where they develop physical skills by climbing and riding bikes. ' Leaders work to support staff's ongoing professional development through observations, team meetings, and one-to-one supervision sessions to raise the quality of teaching and interactions.

Staff create engaging activities, such as creating fossils and a theatre for their current themes, and incorporate mathematics and language development into children's play.

I am so proud our child has the privilege of attending Chesham's Monkey Puzzle. Their overall development has been really noticeable since joining! The staff really love the children they care for. We get to see daily updates of all the cool activities the kids do. Thanks in particular to Monica, Jenine and Catherine

The baby Room Staff at monkey puzzles are just amazing! My daughter is a very clingy baby and I was so worried about sending her to nursery but the staff are just so kind and caring that my daughter LOVES attending nursery! She goes in with a smile and is excited to see her teachers! They keep me fully informed of her time there and any worries I have about my daughter are discussed regularly and I am kept updated. Thank you so much Comfort and Heena you are both amazing at your job!

Monkey Puzzle Chesham is absolutely fantastic. The staff are amazing – so caring, professional and genuinely dedicated to the children. Both of my little ones love it there, which speaks volumes. It’s clear they feel happy, safe and encouraged every day. What really stands out for me is the new owner, manager and how involved Monkey Puzzle Chesham is within the local community. They don’t just focus on what happens inside the nursery, but actively engage with local events, which is wonderful to see. Taking the children out to places like the library and the theatre adds so much to their experience and helps them connect with the world around them. I couldn’t be happier with the care and opportunities my children receive – it’s such a reassuring feeling as a parent to know they’re in such a positive, enriching environment.

We have two children attending Monkey Puzzle in Chesham, one who has been there for 3 years and one who’s been attending for just over a year. We had always been happy with the care our daughter received there and she has always been very happy there. Our son loves it too. However, the change in management and ownership in 2024 have really changed things significantly & positively - it’s like a different place now. There’s been a real shift in the educational focus, while still ensuring the children are enjoying themselves!

Our child joined Monkey Puzzle Chesham in February 2025, and we’ve seen such a wonderful development in their social skills, learning, and confidence. They enjoy a wide variety of activities indoors and outdoors, and it’s clear how much care the team puts into supporting their growth. A special thank you to Monica and Thasneem from Poppies, who have played a huge role in shaping the happy, curious little person they are today.
