How they support every child

SEND provision

There are good arrangements to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The special educational needs coordinator works effectively with each child's key person, parents and other relevant professionals to put in place strategies to meet their individual needs. For example, a quiet space is set aside for specific children to use if they begin to feel anxious.

Outdoor space

The outside area is very inviting and successfully supports children's learning and enjoyment. The older children particularly enjoy the outdoor area, where they engage in energetic games with their friends or move with control as they balance.

My child is very happy here and is always excited to go in, staff have been informative, helpful and very supportive during his settling in, I feel strongly that he is well cared for and loved. The management and staff communicate daily via their online daily diary system and I recieve regular emails and newsletters to keep me in the loop of what's going on and what he's learning. We are both very happy and would highly recommend!

My daughter has attended Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield since March 2022. Overall we have had an excellent experience with them. Staff are kind, caring and have shown that they really get to know your child individually. We have been really impressed by their knowledge and understand individual needs and cater to them. Management (who were new in September 2022) are fantastic and have made excellent changes to the nursery which have made a great impact on our daughters learning and development. Every morning our daughter runs in to greet staff without a single look back, which is exactly what you hope for! Parents are kept updated using an app and sent pictures and “golden moments” when the children take part in activities. Parents are encouraged to send “home updates” which have been really simple to do and a great way of keeping everyone involved. The food is great and our daughter is very happy! We couldn’t recommend them more!

My daughter spent an amazing 3 years at Monkey Puzzle and enjoyed every day spent there. Staff are personable and build great connections with the children. They support all areas of development with care and consideration whilst keeping things fun! I highly recommend this nursery and we are all set to send our second child soon. My daughter has been a fussy eater in the past but the food has her trying all sorts of new meals that I couldn’t get her to eat... Big thumbs up!!

Monkey Puzzle Tatsfield is a wonderful nursery, my son absolutely adores it there. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and always plan for him on an individual basis based on his interests to encourage and develop his skills further. He is a BIG food lover, so he particular enjoys the different meals they have at nursery, which are always nutritious and well balanced.

We love Monkey Puzzle! It’s a safe and secure setting for little ones, they have a great balance of learning and play both indoors and outdoors and fantastic food. And the new Blossom system is a great way to keep track of daily activities and achievement! The nursery staff are amazing, we would highly recommend.
