About this day nursery

Moulton Pre-School is a community-operated, charitable organisation that has been serving the village of Moulton for over 30 years. It provides a nurturing atmosphere and high-quality early education, fostering a safe, stimulating, and comfortable environment where every child is valued and respected.

The pre-school prioritises promoting healthy lifestyles through physical activity, nutritional awareness, and building strong foundations for overall well-being. They boast a dedicated team, with many staff members holding degrees or NVQ Level 3 qualifications, who are committed to fostering strong communication and secure relationships with children to boost their emotional well-being and confidence.

The pre-school offers places for up to 36 children per session in St Stephens Church Hall, complemented by a spacious, secure outdoor play area. Parents are encouraged to participate actively by joining the committee, with some continuing their involvement long after their children have moved on to primary school.

Moulton Pre-School also maintains strong ties with local primary schools, including Moulton Primary, Davenham CE, Kingsmead, and Winsford Schools, and welcomes community helpers like police, fire officers, and nurses for educational visits.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The well-established links with various external professionals help to ensure that all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, receive the relevant support and intervention to help them make good progress. Funding allocated to these children is used to implement specific and personalised support.

Outdoor space

Children relish their time outside and demonstrate good physical dexterity as they kick balls and practise scoring goals. Children enjoy exploring the secure outdoor area and laugh infectiously with their friends as they race to catch the bubbles before they pop.
