Very disappointing experience with management team. They where quick to charge registration fee, but i chased them 4 times until they arranged viewing. When viewing took place they took us to the wrong room as my daughter was too old for baby room, thus they haven't even read my registration form when we would like her to start. I been promised that I will receive all information via email, but it never happened. In general nursery is messy and smell was awful. Most consorting thing was that so many people where going in and out and and atmosphere was not right and place didn't feel safe . Staff next to me complained that they need to go home and there is no one to cover them... Just not the place where you want your child to be

When we contacted the nursery for viewing, the admin in charge was unprofessional, arrogant and rude, and I suspect this is the same person being complained about over the years as seen in the comments below. Like the others have experienced before, she repeatedly ignored my emails and calls, and subsequently booked us for a slot that I had clearly stated in the request that was impossible for us. After lots of delays and frustration, when we finally turned up for viewing 4 months later, the manager was not expecting us as the admin never informed the crew! At that point I was pretty sure I wanted nothing to do with this nursery any more, but the manager who let us in was very nice and I felt positive after the viewing so I signed up for the waiting list. We didn't get a space eventually and I wonder if things would be different had we been offered a viewing earlier without all the hassle. Our child has now happily settled in a different nursery and receives brilliant care. But every time we pass by Mudchute, the horrible encounter with the admin staff comes back to me and I think prospective parents should be aware of this. They should do something about it.

Absolutely amazing nursery! My son has been extremely happy there, the staff is lovely and they care deeply about the children. No turnover of staff like in other nurseries, most of the people working there have been in the nursery for years. The outdoor space is amazing, they also have a tree house!

We are very happy to have our son at the Mudchute nursery. The whole team from Baby room are doing a great job! It can be seen from my son’s face at the end of the day that he enjoyed a lot being there and I can see lots of things he learnt in respect of his development from the nursery. The rooms are clean, safe and well organised with lots of toys that are adequate for their age. The management is also very helpful and supportive to all queries and concerns we have raised so far!

I met the manager in July - she was lovely and explained how to go about securing a place. I was really keen based on our conversation. I did as she said and emailed the admin team with some questions. The woman I ended up in an exchange with was rude and abrupt and has put me off entirely. She ignored my enquiries multiple times and gave me only one impossible option for viewing the nursery. I work in an educational setting and lead on parent relations. I expect every member of our team to demonstrate compassion and care… In my experience, where it’s found to be lacking, it filters down and this will eventually impact on the children. It’s a real shame when one member of a team lets the rest down.
